If I build a backlink to a article directories and hopefully it will be crawled.

Should I build backlinks to it to increase it's page authority?

Or should I focus on building other backlinks?

Does Google cares more about the quality of backlinks or numbers to it (We are on bh forum, don't talk crap)

IMO Google cares more focused on quality of backlinks, rather than higher number of less quality links.

It has been said 1000 times here, QUALITY is very important that the quantity of links. It gives you longevity and can be trusted for sure.

Always focus on quality backlink rather than quantity. 10 high quality backlink is better than 1000 low-quality backlink.

You can create backlinks to your articles directory link But you better focus on main link building to your site.

now the google changed the update .. they focus on the quality of backlinks not the quantity try to build high DA backlink rather then building low quality backlink.. if you have any help skype in prajith.s6

Quality wins the race all the time. You can focus on quality links instead of building the more number of links to your website.

IMO, I think article directories still works as long as it is relevant to your niche but you also have to create quality backinks. Why not create unique content to a good site that is relevant to your niche as a guest post.

Just focus on the quality of the backlinks. Make sure the links are relevant to your niche.

Links from Article directories are no longer as highly rated by Google nowadays as they were a few years back. Guest posting on niche relevant sites will get you better link juice.
