    Hello guys,

Im new to seo thing but i've done on-page seo to my site.
Now it has pr2 with 3 backlinks in 2 months.
I want to build more backlinks thats why I started doing offpage seo such as blog commenting and manual directory submission
My problem is, after having successful approval of my comments on blog and manual directory submission.
Do i need to ping the links(urL) where i posted my comment and my submission so that it would be considered as backlinks?

Some recommend letting Google find them, however that may never happen for like forum profiles for example.

I don't think so. Since Google has updated its algorithms, backlinks from comments and directory submissions don't count much now, so i would say that it would be a waste of your efforts and time

Pinging your backlinks is as easy as copying and pasting. It will help get your links seen by Google a lot quicker so I don't see why you should't do it.
