Backlink question

I recently did a blast for one of my free software on software directories. Of course it started to interest me are those links do follow ones.

I found that many sites were do follow but they're linking it this way:

<a title="NiX Web Proxy Script 1.4.2 Screenshot" href="http://link.to.my.site/image.png"> ... </a>

They're also linking direct download same way. Will search engines consider this kind of links as a valid backlinks?
