Backlink Query. Please help

I have brought an expired domain with some good backlinks( high DA).

But some of the links are not for homepage but for different categories. These categories doesn't exist on my site now .

So, what should I do to utilize those backlinks?

Please Note: I don't want to keep those categories ( in backlinks)as they have now of no use.

Can you redirect the old category URLs to something vaguely similar? I would also use Archive.org to check out what it used to be and attempt to replicate.
