Hey everyone,
I’ve been focusing more on building backlinks lately and noticed some mixed opinions about what actually works better now. Some say that a few high-authority backlinks can outrank hundreds of smaller ones, while others believe consistent link quantity still helps.

What’s been your experience in 2025? Do you focus more on link quality or still build links in bulk?

Why is this on hosting section ? Ask a mod to move to correct section.

Definitely quality over quantity. A few solid backlinks from trusted, relevant domains can move rankings far more than hundreds of weak ones. Bulk links might give a short-term boost, but they usually fade or trigger filters. Consistency and authority are what really last in 2025.

These days, Google values authority, so invest your time and money in quality links, not random ones.

Quality all the way for me. A few strong, relevant links from real sites outperform hundreds of weak ones now.
I still mix in some smaller links for diversity, but authority and context seem to matter most in 2025.

In my niche backlinks are of no use, I mostly depends on ads. But the pages that I am competing with do have backlinks from quality site

That’s interesting, some niches really do rely more on ads or direct traffic instead of backlinks. Still, it’s cool to see how competitors with authority links perform differently. Have you ever tested adding a few backlinks just to see if it makes any measurable difference?

I focus on quality now. A few good links from real sites work way better than hundreds of random ones.

Quality wins for me. A few strong, niche-relevant backlinks perform way better than tons of weak ones. Google values trust more than volume now.
