backlink profiles

i would like to ask if it is possible to get backlink from this way. i've seen people including their signature with anchor text in their forum profile.

however, i've also saw that there is actually the homepage url which allows you to put your site there. could i create lots of profiles for different forums and just put my site in the homepage url of my profile and get backlinks from there too instead of the signature.

The short answer is yes but try and be subtle about it.

Also dont just create profiles with 0 posts and leave them because admin will eventually delete them then you will lose your backlink. Some people will say dont worry about that just make millions of profiles, but depends on what your goals are.

It all depends on how you want to use your profiles.

You can definitely put a profile with backlinks in the signature and then post on that forum to gain more backlinks.

You can also create a lot of profiles with 0 posts but you should point them at your tiers (layers of backlinks) so that it doesn't matter much when/if they get deleted.

Put up some articles, squidoo lenses, etc. and point a lot of profile links at them in order to make some link pyramids.
