Backlink from high autority page but a lot of outbond links

Hi

I have the chance to get a backlink from high authority site, there are 2 choices :-

Page 1 : DA 79 - PA 73 outbound links 30

Page 2 : DA 79 - PA 40 outbound links only 1

Both of them related to money site niche. I prefer Page 2 as I think the authority system is similar to page rank system, more outbound, less benefit.

Which one you prefer and why ?

i would choose page 2, for the same reason
 
Outbound links add a value to your site by providing useful information to visitor.
But,you should link to relevant content if it gives more information to your readers. Bloggers are of the view that you lose traffic, when you put outbound links in your posts but if you share useful resources then chances are that your readers will stick to your blog and will come back in search of more useful resources. But if you do put outbound links in your posts then make sure they are pointing to relevant, original and informative content.


Two things you need to consider in obl:-

2. Linking to relevant site

Definitely page 2, no doubt.

It's not blog commenting and it's kind of stable. Could you clear why you go to page 1 ?
 
Obviously, page 1 is a better bargain if the page and the OBL is controlled, i will opt for that.

But if the page has the potential of growing way beyond the 30 - 35 OBL and to an uncontrollable state then page 2 seems better.

if every other link on the first page was to super authority like .gov domains and option two would end up with the possibiity or rank and bank sites then I would take that into consideration as co-citation is something not one person mentioned here.

Okay now back to ranking :)
