there is nothing like that depend on website authority.
but still helps more coz their posts index so quickly as compared to the normal sites.

This is no longer an appropriate method to verify if a website is google news approved. Things have changed after the December update
Almost every website appears in google news if you check that way.
The right way is to see if it appears in news section for any "search phrases". Only sites that are google news approved will be visible in the news section for a keyword. Rest of the sites are simply sitting there for no real reason
