I just bought an expired domain that is at least 7 years old. It has backlink from CNN in a post from 2011, I have been trying to get my site naturally indexed by forcing google to recrawl that CNN post so that it detects a backlink. Issue is it still has not detected that article as a backlink to my site, because when I check it in ahref it never pops up as a backlink but other sites do.
What can I do? I have been building backlinks to it, been pinging it 2 times...nothing is happening
