Backlink experts PLEASE HELP! -how is this guy ranking for these extremely tough keywords?

If you can help me analyze this guys backlinking strategy it would really help... I think he is just sending a ton of spam links to YT videos, and it is working for him. I could be wrong, they might not be all spam. I need someone to help me look over the links!

While I am not an affiliate marketer, this guy ranks for some of the top affiliate terms for amazon. I want to bring his strategy to the nonaffiliate field, as the competition in my niche is low. If you think you can help, let me know and I will pm you some of his YT video links... each one of the videos is on a different YT account, not optimized, not ranking high in YT, yet ranking on page 1 of google.

backlinks are main factor in yt video rankings in google, you don't even need much views or likes
 
Backlinks and a well used descriptions are one of the best way to rank YouTube videos.
Although i would love to analysis it to see if they are doing something different.
 
Both are very important, video description and link building to rank YT videos, apart from link building social share is also very important.
 
Without even seeing any of the details I'm going to say 301s.

Like what? It may seem to be competitive but in fact they may not. Give us some keywords, and see.
 
I know, backlinks are always the main factor on ranking video on google.
But is they are also main factor on youtube? Because I see some 100k-200k videos with 5-6 backlinks. Can I outrank them with just more backlinks and with 1k views?

P.S. Those videos are viral videos with real views - so people search and click on them. Thats also a factor,right?
 
it would be nice if the uploader of the videos is here and actually asks the OP for details about the vids and sees everyone is talking about his methods :D
 
Link building and social shares are important factor for YT videos.
