    Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone have a nice backlink calculator that can analyze the number of backlinks that are with the site. I want to track my sites, and I use traffic travis' seo analysis but it gives me different numbers everytime.. is it becasue my backlinks are not sticking??
anyways, back to the main question can anyone recommend a better backlink analysis tool?

    thanks in advance,
    cheers

your backlinks will constantly fluctuate because the search engines don't show all of them and sometimes they fall off or new ones are found. worry less about how many you have but rather spend the time on building more to improve your SERPs. You have to be constantly building anyway...

I use a combination of Yahoo Site Explorer, Google Webmaster Tools, and Backlinkwatch.com to check my backlinks. The numbers do change a lot, though. Backlinks get deleted and created without you knowing. A site you posted to can go down, or something else. But just keep getting backlinks slowly every week to make sure the big G doesn't notice all these backlinks at once and then no more. That's how suspicion is risen about your site.

even if your in rank#1 in a keyword you really need to build links constantly to maintain your ranking. Not just because your competitor are trying to build as many links as you do but some of your links gets deleted for many reasons.

Dont bother counting your backlinks just build more.

Id suggest Market Samurai, thats what I use anyway.

I've heard that the results found can be different if refreshed but that seems to be the general consensus for all methods of checking backlinks.

Plus its also a very useful piece of software to have.

If you have the money buy it but there is a download somewhere in the download section, thats where I got it.
