So I've been doing some link building, via blog commenting using tools
This morning one of the blog owner got pissed for the track back and notified my affiliate manager. I was warned about spamming.
So how often do you run into situation like this? Or do you take different strategies for affiliate based money sites? Any comments are welcome
I have a custom backlink blaster that I built and use for my own promotions, however, I do two things differently and highly suggest them to you know:
1. Make sure you actually send these blasts to a LEGITIMATE content page, that leads the reader into your sales page funnel passively, as a suggestion...think of it like article/review style work. This is Not an outlet for direct sales page linking anymore, as that is a waste of time.
Building backlinks to your content also builds serious linkjuice for your site, instead of leaving you de-indexed, sandboxed, slapped or otherwise.
2. Make sure to occassionaly send thank you emails to sites that allow you to consistantly backlink your sites to them and give the exchange in your own links/partners/affiliates/associates pages in your sites. This will give you more authority with the search engines and more respect and less hassle from the backlink source owner.
Just slow down and think about this stuff and what you are doing before you do it and cancel as many of the wrongs that result from your right. This stuff is too easy to do without breaking any rules, leaving a happy life merely bending them with a little legitimate tweak to the process like what is mentioned here.
Best of luck...and for Pete's sake, get out of your own way and stop causing yourself more trouble. Lesson learned, act on this experience from now on.
