Backlink and seo question.

When creating a backlink, is it better to backlink the page that has the article with your keyword in it? Example.


<a href=http://www.url.com/my-keyword-article>my keyword article</a>

or just

<a href=http://www.url.com> my keyword article</a>

One more question. How many keywords per backlink with out looking like spam?

Always backlink the page that is keyword targeted. eg.

<a href=http://www.url.com/my-keyword-article>my keyword article</a>

You will have a huge advantage in the SERPs if your page is properly optimized. This also makes your backlinking looking natural to search engines when you don't backlink directly to your root domain url.

Keywords in the Article Title, H1 Tags, Meta Description and the article itself helps in some way with SEO.

Just don't get redundant so much within your content in using your keywords as many times as you want.

Just keep it natural.

I suggest you to spin 3 or 4 of your Core keywords as Anchors. Also, use the first example for backlinks, it is very effective.
