I need to plan ahead for a change in taxation.

I have a news website in French that has a fairly decent audience (between 500 and 1,000 unique visitors per month).

The site has a DR of 38.

The audience is fairly small due to the specialized nature of the media.

I am considering hosting (not immediately) sponsored content or backlinks in exchange for payment.

Naive question: how much can I ask for, or rather, how should I calculate my rates? Gaming, porn, and crypto will be excluded from the outset.

As it's a news site, you'll still need an article with the backlink and a well-written article, so yes, I can go with €100 approximately.

I have another question.
Does a backlink necessarily imply building an entire article around it?
I've been talking to my readers/donors, who have questions and fears about the future of the newspaper.
Is it acceptable to insert the backlink in an insert?
Here's what I had in mind:
article - text
Insert in the middle of the paper saying: this article remains freely accessible thanks to funding from [backlink in do follow].
