Backlining schedule

In order to avoid getting banned, I understand the need to spread linking building over time. Does it matter if I am following a daily or weekly schedule of back links?

I would think daily is more natural looking. On the other hand it depends on when the bl get indexed. I would appreciate hearing what is the most optimal way to go about it.

for example with SEnuke I'm building very randomly..
1 day - 7
2 day - 10
3 day - 17
4 day -5
