Background music in videos

Hi , I have made an YT channel about cars and stuff (car tricks , drifting etc) and there is a music in background . Are such kind of videos allowed for monetization ? Will I receive copyright strike , or networks won't accept me ? I am just a starter in this thing so I want some advice.
I ve seen so many popular (and not popular) channels using actually copyrighted content (different film fragments and stuff ) and they are operating normal for many month ...

did you add the music yourself?
If it is just in the background like say at a show and can be heard then i'd not worry too much, if you are taking tracks and adding them with a editor then make sure you use copyright free music.
Quick google search can find that

You did not specify WHERE the music came from. Just because you "saw" channels with music, doesent mean the video isnt being monetized by the OWNER of the music and not the channel itself.

To avoid issues, I've ALWAYS used royalty-free or music with permission from artist, or made it myself.

Yes , I added it with editor ... So I think I should remove it and use copyright free music ,
is there any database where I can find this music ?

Google "royalty free" music for starters. I already mentioned it above. Many artists will do this. Many websites exist for this.

Few friend of mine uploaded car POVs with music playing, some Adele and some rap songs, and after 1 week YT disabled monetization on those videos.

Thanks for advice guys . And here i want also ask : if I make a compilation of different videos (for ex best fragments from different films on same theme) such video will be accepted ? A few friends of mine done this and they have no problem , is there any method to use it legally ? (Maybe there is a thread describing such techniques ) , because it could make my job easier .

There are many threads, which I have been trying to put together for a sticky (no luck so far). I would recommend searching for FAIR USE threads if youre going to be White Hat though.
