So.. pretty new to SEO but im learning quickly. but a little vague on paying for backlinking, is it a common strategy for the seo gurus? i do not want to invest in scrapebox etc until i have a solid foundation of understanding in SEO.

paying for backlinks, it it worth it or just manually doing them on the correct sites ( which i have been doing ) and IF so i would like some recommendations to great backlink services that are not spam.

Well, honestly speaking I wouldn't recommend paying someone to do it for you first.

Do it manually for now - learn how it works. Use social bookmarkings, profile backlinkings, linkwheeling, and so forth. Once you've started earning moolahs, you can then learn to outsource - pay others to do it for you.

Treat Internet Marketing as a game. Think of it as investing in real estate - putting money in and getting returns later.

    Good luck.

P.S: Whereas for scrapebox, you need to LEARN how to use it first.

I agree completely with BlackSeng. There is no point paying people to do something that you don't even fully understand.

Start building your own backlinks first and then if you are making money you can decide whether or not you want to pay someone for it and you will also have an idea of what a fair and unfair price is, as you will understand exactly what it is they are doing.

I use Xgenseo, do u suppose it would hurt my SE ranking for keywords I am trying to
dominate? would it be better to use white hat techniques and do them manually
