1) How many keywords are you targetting with that structure?
2) How is it supposed to make money - for example, is it a keyword that only needs to be on page 1 and people will click your aff link because they're already looking for it (what I do), or is it a "sales pitch" type setup where people enter a query or question and you say "yes, you can have clear skin if you buy this ace skin cream.." ?
Answer 1 - This site is targeting three keywords primarily, but I throw about 12 into the mix in order to keep it random. 50% of the links point to the homepage, 50% to subpages.
Answer 2 - This site is designed to be an "authority" review site. The site itself used no Black Hat Monetization. The only "black" think about it is this blog farm. The primary keyword is has over 100,000 searches p/day with a Market Samurai SEOT value of 70,000. Monetization in the beginning is just Adsense. Average Adwords CPC in this niche is $3.50. This is the only site in the network with Adwords Monetization on it. The site itself doesn't actively "sell" anything.
And what abt the keyword research process. .. what do you target ... I mean how competitive...
Is this method worth risking for a white hat site?
Would you use CPA stuff or adsense on the money making site..
Competition in the niche is 24M competing pages for the phrase matched term. The Top 10 strangely enough has plenty of weakness. #1 guy has 375,000 backlinks, but the rest of them are much lower than that with only three of the top-10 having more than 1,000 backlinks. PR and on-page seo for a number of the sites is full of holes. I'm aiming for the #2 spot.
Would I use this stuff on a White Hat site? I sure would, but I would cover my tracks. I'm pumping a plethora of different style links to the site. Articles, Angela's style links, directory submits, both ********/NoFollow comments...everything to keep it mixed up and random. I never link out to any site form the money site except for other "authority" sites in the niche. The only thing grey on the money site itself is it's entry into a 3-Way linking network...and I might just rip that out completely in the next few weeks to be honest. It only gave me 300 links and is the weakest link in the chain right now.
The blog farm is only one piece of the puzzle.
As to why did I decide to go Deep Instead of Wide? Because you can't build a real list with 100 different niches. How are you going to put together 100 different email campaigns every other day? At least that was what I was thinking.
I've got six niche sites that I'm nursing to $4,000 p/month. This authority site is my baby is going to be the game changer for me once it's on page one.
