I was wondering if you could answer a query. In your personal experience, what keyword density % have you found to be just about right for your targeting keyword/phrase on the page you are aiming to rank for?

Also, I've read that around 500 words is about right for articles, would you agree with this?

We normally shoot for a 1%-2% density.

Our articles are between 350 - 500 words...(it cost less if you stay closer to 350) just make sure you meet the min requirements of where you are submitting.

Does your backlinks ever show up in backlink checks from these web 2.0 sites? I'm using Senuke, but using the random URLs tag rather than making a traditional linkwheel. All my content is spun to about 30% uniqueness.

I put a spun article on each of the web 2.0 properties as well as submit to article directories. I then ping all the new properties and social bookmark them as well. I then combine all the rss feeds into one rss feed and submit them using the RSS Nuke.

However, the only backlinks that really ever show up in backlink reports are article directories such as Ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com What is your experience with this?

A lot of links can take 30 days or longer to show up. Google, Yahoo and Bing take a while to update the backlinks. Google is notorious for not giving accurate info on backlinks. If thought the pages are indexed the backlinks may not show up in many of the programs used for checking backlinks.

1.1 Do you mean like posting comments on your own articles [using multiple user accounts]?

1.2 If yes, do you also put a link to your sales page when commenting?

You mentioned that you can use Ezine as the base and the have 2 different linkwheels from there.



2. if you use 2 different linkwheels,
Linkwheel 1: 10 web 2.0 sites
Linkwheel 1: 8 web 2.0 sites

and both of them have a link to ezine

Do you go after a different keyword at linkwheel 2?

I am looking for a microphone, to record my voice, [create an audio product]. I ve been searching around for some time now, talking to forums, and most people suggest that in order to have a proffesional output that i can sell, i will have to pay btwn $100-150.

I was getting ready to Buy Blue Snowball ==> $98 when i saw their new product Blue Yeti ==>$150

I just want to record voice only, then put some background music and sell it. Then i listen to your videos, and i can say that the mic you are using has good quality.

5.1 What mic do you use?
5.2 How much?
5.3 Would you recomend it for creating audio products that you will SELL?

JV awesome info on this thread, this is a similar product i beta tested for web ventures group..... The linking matrix starts to give me a headache when i think about it but it saved me from running all the VA's myself

I managed to get hold of a list of web 2 properties that total I think 20 odd. Can you please advise if there are any problems when building a lot of lik wheels as the sites will be hosted on the same ip address?
