I hired a person who says he does white hat SEO, and I was very clear that is all I wanted. He took me up over a few months in my seo ranking, and then over night all my key words dropped at least 60 spots. It has been a few days, and nothing. How can I tell if he did black hat work?

Whitehat SEO is a lie, so he scammed you from the start. And you should know better that such thing is a fairy tale. Check your backlink profile in Ahrefs.

Check your links in Ahrefs.. If they are shady (which they should be) then you will stop the lier easily If you see completely normal links (which you won't) - YOU Should just tell that person - "FUCK OFF!"

It's is a lie, Check your links in Ahrefs and you will know
