Back link before or after indexing?

How the heck is a site thats NOT indexed supposed to be getting backlinks?The point is to seem NATURAL. Get it indexed and wait a lil bit.
Remember, your in the WH section here.
Thanks for the heads up. Well if you for example shared your url with friends on fb, then it would have back links before it was indexed.

Yeah, but how would you know about the page if it isn't indexed? even to get the link and give it to your friend...
Anyhow, we usually wait until the site is indexed, which only takes a day or two anyhow...
EDIT: Of course you are going to put out a couple of links initially to get the site indexed. But not like building articles and forums and all kinds of stuff to it.
