Back from the Dead

Hey all,

Well been a couple of years but I'm back. After going to the first UnGagged get together I had my shit hacked and lost my google adcents account. Years of work shot to shit. But I'm ready to get back in the game, hope to learn as much this time as I did last time and get back to making two grand a month or more.

stuff gets hack , touch wood, only had that issue twice in 19 years online.

Oh hell no. Everyone at UnGagged rocked. It was just a coincidence that they correlated to one another. It's just that I was making enough online money to be able to afford to do that trip and then all my shit got jacked up, which was very disheartening. But I'm back again, and looking to bust it up even better than I used to.

Hey OP, just briefly how did you adsense get hacked and did you resolve it? That's a bit worrying. Is it something as simple as having a very good password to prevent it?

i doubt he went to ungagged with his passwords written on his back so prob just
co-incidence, and accounts can be replaced , but it does suck the life out of you

It was a couple of my sites that got hacked. Google gave me a warning about them putting out malicious software. Turns out it was an SQL injection. I went in got it cleaned up, and they let me continue on, but whatever the vulnerability was I hadn't corrected it and within a couple of days I was hacked again. After that Google killed my Adsence account and blacklisted all of my sites. Google was about 3/4 of my income. It was an issue of me not really knowing how to lock down the server I was using than anything, but with Google there is no appeals process. Once they cut you, you're cut or at least all your sites are. One thing I need to figure out is how to get another Adsence account. But after such a huge crash, about 5 years of work blown up, I kind of let everything slip away. But I still enjoyed the money I made, and want to rebuild that again. Now that I'm retiring from the military I have the drive to learn something new again, so hear I am. Did it once, so all the really hard lessons have been learned. Mainly that this is not a get rich quick game, and that it won't be an overnight success, but I'll get there again.
