Used to be a member of another former forum a while back, been learning a lot about python and been a gamedev and marketing manager for years and blackhat marketing has always helped me out tremendously. Looking to get some rep so I can properly use this site.

Already bought a couple of services off of here but haven't been posting as much as I should have been.

I'm learning react and typescript RN. Been getting much better at deploying environments. A friend of mine told me to get into AGS, Astal+Typescript cli scaffolding.

Been a long time unity dev but recently got good at unreal and want to get into godot.

I wear alot of hats and love to connect.
 
Nice, react and typescript are solid! Have you tried godot yet? heard it's super smooth for smaller projects, if you’ve got any unreal tips, I’d love to hear them, just starting with it myself

I haven't, I honestly thought I had to learn golang to use it LOL, the French are some confusing peeps haha.

The title of the play in French is En Attendant Godot.

Maybe I should watch it sometime since it was so inspiring.
 
nah you don’t need golang for godot just some patience to learn the basics do you already have a project in mind or just testing it out

I honestly just want to work with whatever has the best API Packages and integrations, unreal is dope for good graphics and amazing optimization. Unity is great for multiplatform and simple gamejams. I don't really have anything in mind for godot yet.

Unreal would be the plan for a bigger project to sell on steam but for quick itch.io stuff I usually stick to unity.

Curious now if I can make a teleg game in godot. I'll have to look into it.
 
steam is a solid plan for a big project but for godot a telegram game could be quick to try what exactly are you thinking of doing? it's really vast you know

No worries, most of us began like that. Posting once on a full moon, not connecting with new people etc... But if you use blackhatworld it can make you quite a lot of money and building a reputation will certainly help!
