Can any one tell me some SEO tips for B2B activities as i need to create a plan for my clients

Jim,

I'm not sure there is anything different about the overall tasks you must perform whether you are doing them for a B2B site or a B2C site. You are still going to want to optimize for keywords, build links, generate content, etc.

I would take the approach of how your client's customers may differ (and therefore may use search differently) than a B2C prospect. For example B2B prospects may be far more educated than a B2C prospect. This may mean targeting more sophisticated keyword phrases.

I think one area you should be sure to focus on is generating enough content. This is something that is often lacking in B2B scenarios.

excellent share shawn. But how can some one afford good content writer while he is in starting of business newly.

i am in confusion. that when we post our keyword on forum for its SERP for our page in search engine the site moderators block those user who post links in there reply. How to avoid them?

If you're working in the B2B sector, I would seriously look at LinkedIn - it's a great way for prospecting, you get access to President/CEO of companies and there over 200mil users!

From an SEO perspective, I would ask your client what types of keywords does his clients call his product/service. Then, start your keyword research portion and see if there are additional keywords the client hasn't thought of.
