Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right section, but I couldn't find a category for email marketing.

I have a list of 5,000 businesses in a particular niche I would like to send emails too. These are company emails, not personal ones (ex. they are posted on the business website for contact inquiries). My question is - can I send these emails promotional / sales offers without calling in asking for permission?

Thanks,

Technically - any unsolicited email is considered spam. Having said that, I think you can get away with a lot as long as you follow the canned spam rules.

If you scraped them you take a risk, but if your email provides any kind of valuable information you can turn it into a successful campaign.

You mean you have generic emails like "info@" "support@" "contact@"
Please tell me what kind of email do you have i will help you to sort out for how to approach.

Thanks,
Helena,
