For everyone who runs a b2b agency, the traditional smma targeting local businesses how you book meetings with clients in 2026 (mainly talking about outreach since I don't have the buget for ads)? I used to book a lot of meetings with ig dms using a bait and switch strategy (asking a question to get out of requests and than pitch) but it doesnt work anymore. From what I heard, the best way atm with cold dms is to go very personalized. What been working for you guys recently?

Cold emailing still works, then cold SMS campaigns that's targeted and efficient ones at least.

Personalization is definitely key now. Focus on researching your prospects and mentioning specific pain points or recent activities. Offer value upfront—like a quick audit or free advice—before pitching. LinkedIn is also great for B2B outreach; engage with content and send thoughtful, non-salesy messages.

Cold dms are good, however, just make sure you are using a 4G proxy when sending them since sending the email from the same IP might get your email in the spam list. Use a 4G proxy and you should be good. In addtion, make sure there is a rotation link so that you can change the IP after each email you send.

Cold outreach still works, but generic scripts don’t.

What’s working better now:

  • Very personalized first message (mention something specific about their business)
  • Short, direct value offer (quick audit, idea, or suggestion)
  • Multi-channel outreach (email + LinkedIn + light DM follow-up)
  • Simple CTA like “Open to a quick chat?” instead of a hard pitch
Bait-style openers are burned out. Clear, respectful, value-first outreach performs better long term.
what platforms u use?

Mass bait dms are dead now. Short personalized first line about their business works way better. Keep it simple and ask for quick call not long pitch.

Honestly from what I see now, mass DMs and tricks donot work like before. People ignore fast. What works better is short message and something real about their business so they see it’s not copy paste. Also giving small value first helps a lot. And using more than one channel like email, LinkedIn and small follow up DM seems stronger. Simple ask for quick chat works better than big pitch. Outreach still works, just need to be more real now.

Cold email + LinkedIn combo. But messaging has to be about them, not your agency.
