What are some not so well known improvement tips to increase the network performance of a VPS server hosting a .NET website through IIS?

I think you need to elaborate on your request.
You can improve VPS itself, but that is not possible to improve network. That is what VPS is connected to and it doesn't influence that

For example we already implemented "accelarated networking" which removed a lot of the virtual switching. Curious if there are more network settings on the VPS server itself or any other component like the virtual network card that could improve the response time.
