The hardest part of 'stealing' a theme is getting the php files. Many custom themes don't change the core php much, only the css files. I guess the answer is yes and no. If the theme doesn't require calls to new php files, then yes you can get the css files and make the necessary changes. If the theme calls a new php file, you will get errors. Of course, you can always remove the calls.

Guys this site is UGLY but that's not the point, the owner doesn't care one bit what his visitors think of it. It's designed for people to just LEAVE, going there makes him money. He earns A lot from Google Adsense and CPM ads because he receives a lot of traffic daily.
His site is measured directly through Quantcast and ranks around 2,141 right now. See for yourself here to check his traffic deals:

Wow, I think this wins some sort of award. Quantcast is pretty damn worthless too.
I bet his CTR is pretty low actually. The best model is to have a ~700 pixel wide design, large header of around ~150px height, and a large adsense block right below post title.
If people can't load the site your CTR is going to be in the toilet. I don't care how many ads you have on the site.
One fast loading template with a large block in the center has super high rates of clicks. You realize also that google penalizes you if the site takes too long to load with regards to adsense.
Top banner PSA, yeah I am sure he is making a killing.

I was checking through the backlinks and this guy has some high powered legitimate ones. Amazing!

I have seen really good celebrity sites though and this isn't one of them. Not saying he doesn't make good money, I am just saying with a faster loading page and a better adsense/ad optimized design he would be making a hell of a lot more.

Celebrity sites are great, I think I am going to start one up. I wonder how he manages to trigger criminal background check adsense ads. Very odd. I would have to look at the code.

wow this site takes forever to load then redirects you to another website.
After the URL of the WP website in question add "wp-content/plugins/"
without quotes of course..
assuming they didn't protect the folder in some way.
Only works if the goon hasn't put an index.htm page into the plugins directory, which just shows this guy is a complete amateur.
