Hey,

anyone had succes mining crypto on aws? I read it was against there ToS. So wondering if there are any workarounds?

Yeah, I did but it's not worth it. I think it was sugarcoins or sugarchains can't remember.

Mining light crypto is possible but not worth it.

Back in the day, did ETH and Monero on the free tier on AWS and Azure all before the limits got tight.

You will get shutdown instantly. but if you encrypt the miner it can work for long time

But is it profitable now in 2022 that's the question, it'll be a good thing if it is.

Eactly. This can work, but you need to be really technical and create your own solution for this stuff.

No use of it, only loss. Wont get anything these days. Mining is not against ots, but mining with credits is against tos. they remove credits if they notice and bill you for used money.

Any crypto that can be mined in a VPS, will nowadays not even cover the monthly cost of the VPS (those days are gone). Either go for staking OR if you want to mine, then invest US$50,000 and upwards in mining rigs suitable for mining Bitcoin and that also in a country or region where electricity is very very very cheap, otherwise even mining will not be profitable nowadays.

It gets banned mate , Hackers usually get banned , so this heavy task can be dangerous !
