Hello everyone, I did some research on these two mailing services, but I still have some points to verify with those who had experience.

    1. Reviews of Mailchimp say that it doesn't allow affiliate links? Getting banned without warning... Will this be fine with cloaked links in the mails? I'm planning to market Clickbank products.
    2. Somewhere I also read that we can't attach files (ebooks) on Mailchimp emails? If this is the case I guess I should just upload the file and add the dl link.
    3. Also no auto-responder for subscriptions with the free Mailchimp account?

    Thanks!

Buy your own SMTP server and do your own mailing if you plan on making this last. Also if you don't want to share your mailing list with these services.

Not sure about mailchimp, but I know that Aweber has no issues with affiliate links in emails. I do it here and there if I find something that's good for my audience.

Mailchamp is any day a better choice over Aweber. But if you're in this for the long run, buying your own SMTP server sounds like a good idea.

for any hosted email solution you need to follow CAN-SPAM act rules so you don't get your domain banned. That is why Mailchimp and Aweber have these rules.

I wouldn't use Mailchimp if affiliate marketing is against their terms and conditions. What do they do if they spot your affiliate links? Are you in danger of losing your list? I use aweber and it's okay. I'm sure there are better services but its what I'm used to and it does what I need it to do.

    Aweber is better......
it's easy to operate; it allows affiliate links!

Most of the top marketers are using aweber ;)

SMTP.com and similar services sell cheap relays you can use to send via your own server with something like the old downloadable version of Phplist or Interspire or similar.

Get an SMTP server through Amazon or other hosting platforms.

It's an excellent resource to have as you can create a service with it for friends and associates...

does anyone have any experience of sending gaming/binary options/ forex emails through aweber? If so did you encounter any problems uploading lists, or with the content of your mailers?

Any insights into this would be very helpful

    Thanks
