Aweber got almost 1000$ invoice due for nothing. HELP!

Hello everyone today I was shocked when I saw that I received an invoice with almost 1000$. My account was on hold for 5$ a month, but I received this insane amount for "Pay-per-use Broadcasts" and I didn't use any of them , what should I do? What they can do if I don't pay anything, because it's just not fair...

The only thing you can do is contact Aweber's support. You can't do anything, only request for information about your fake campaign.
 
But what they can do If I don't pay? Do they have a right to sue me or something?

Man depend, if they've the proof that you've used this campaign you've to pay and if you don't pay they can contact credit recovery agency to get the money. If you're sure that the mistake isn't yours and you've the proof that you have not used this service there is nothing they can do.
 
OP are you based in USA? If not, there is no need to bother yourself with this as the cost of recovery is going to cost much more than the $1,000 which you owe them. If you are based in USA, you would need to settle this issue amicably with them. Most likely you would still have to pay them a portion of this expenses unless you have specific proofs that you did not broadcast this campaign. This is why it is a good practice to use Paypal for payment and not your credit card. Ideally a stealth account. If shit happens, at least you can just have that paypal account banned and risk nothing of your money. (remember to use a proxy to access paypal though). Do not use this advice for any criminal activities.

I live in Europe, but the credit card I used is in Chicago (payoneer) , but currently I don't have any funds in it. Should I worry in this case?
 
OP, the way you have worded your posts makes it sound like you are trying to get away without paying.

If you hadn't used the service you would be contacting them to complain and trying to resolve the issue.

You can always talk to a lawyer and see if you have a case for the lawyer to send a notice to aweber to cancel the invoice. A day in court isn't necessarily in order.
 
First you edit your post & make it visible, You have chosen black color in Black Theme.

If you dont use it they must not send you invoice. Better you contract them. You have nothing to do before you contact them.

Here im sure you are trying to avoid the payment. There you have nothing to make everything alright.
