Is there any solid good alternative to Aweber that is perhaps free/cheaper. I am about to buy it and I was just about to buy it then I remembered that there are probably BH tools to do this job.

Anyone know if there is any alternatives?

I wouldnt mess with interspire or anyone else but aweber. Just my opinion.

If you have to save on costs, try interspire, but delivery won't be as good.
Definately upgrade to paid service when you have the cash.

Seconded, MailChimp has a great free plan for starters. Once you start seeing profit, all you have to do is upgrade your plan.:)

aweber is a buck for the first month. If you can't get up to $20 / month after a month of making your list and emailing them, then find something else.

I like mailchimp a lot but don't plan on spamming cause they monitor that stuff closely. I contact is not bad either.

Mailchimp is not for affiliate marketers.
They closed my account once they noticed I was an affiliate marketer.

    Go here:

    http://www.mailchimp.com/terms-policies/terms-of-use/

    Control+F "Affiliate marketing".

    Read what they say.
Affiliate marketing is against their T/C.

Once they will get you (even if you do nothing wrong like I do). Your account will be closed and your contacts will be lost.
I even started a thread way back when they closed my account. Just use the search button.

In addition to that, I think their platform is not so amazing as everyone says it is.
Way "Over doing". They tried to make it so easy & visually attractive, that 1/2 of functionality is not there.
Just signup with Aweber and tell me if you can even compare the 2.

Aweber is 100 steps ahead of mailchimp in all aspects. Easy, efficient, deliverable. (And cheap if you use a white label).

I've found Getresponse to be pretty nifty, so it's really up to you whether you want to settle for Aweber or otherwise. Both are pretty good.

hey there a lot of auto responders and programs like that that are resident on your PC, but first ask yourself what you're actually going to be doing with your auto responder before you make this decision. if you're doing black hat, a Weber and other purchased packages like that probably won't work for you because of the double opt in. On the other hand if you're doing black hat, interspire or any of the other ones are great except that you will have a higher ratio of undelivered mail going into people's spam folders. Also remember that something that is not an A. weber type service has a lot of administrative and management duties to it it isn't just a plug-and-play application and you need to be aware of that and ready to do some work. Lots of good suggestions on this thread, just know what you're getting into because it's very very difficult if not impossible to move your client lists over once you've already started somewhere else.

    I don't see 90c as cheaper.. honestly..
It feels as if getresponse is in the ass of aweber trying to get some of the action.

I didnt like getresponse because of the ugly footer..

But of course they are good..

wow... I just noticed that (Affiliate marketing is against their T/C.). They are even more expensive than aweber and getresponse. Why on earth they don't allow that ?

what about infusionsoft dot com ?

more alternative : emailaces dot com - free (you may choose to upgrade as well)
