Avoiding SSN?

Any ideas on avoiding use of my real SSN for affiliate programs like AFF,and will it be checked before I can recieve a payment?... or what about PayPal - in my case, they asked for my SSN.

Sorry for the noob question

Nope

Its 2011 either u use a ssn or your not getting paid

i think if you add a bank account you don't need SSN. i have a paypal w/out SSN

Foreign Country address.
SSN are not available in every country.

I always give them a wrong one if they ask for it during signup. If I am accepted, I will go in and change it.

I just think there is no reason to be giving it out when you may get declined, and if you are, then they have your SSN.

In the USA,,
perfectly legit to use an EIN to conceal your SSN.
Get your Employee Identification Number from irs.gov for free.
