Avoiding scams

    Recently I've seen several scam post. Seller running away with money and not completing the job, people not getting paid, disputes, and so on...

    Wouldn't it be easier and safer if you just used an escrow?
    I've used it several years ago it protects the buyer and seller. I forget what the fee was but it was small.

    Some of the biggest scams in the world are pulled off using escrow.
    It leads you into a false sense of security.

    In general yes. The best scam prevention is using your brain...

    If someone offers "Guaranteed seo for $1" you prob. shouldn't buy.

    PS: There are a number of "how to avoid scams" threads by the mods and a few other members. Newbs and anyone concerned about eCommerce transactions should spend a few minutes to read them.
