Pretend were in the offline world, the real world. You go to a store and listen to the salesman's pitch. You like what he says and are convinced, you want to buy the product now. You practically have the money in your hands. He says great, yet doesn't take you to the checkout but to another salesman doing a similar pitch. That's what a bridge page is. Once your visitor indicates to you that he's sold, take him to the checkout, not another sales pitch.
