Avoid JDRhosting with a Bargepole

    Hi everyone,

    Avoid JDR hosting unless your happy with getting paper weight worst hosting ever.
    I know there is a shitlist here that requires you to prove a tonne of evidence, unfortunately they conduct their business in way that it's impossible or difficult to prove.
    These are my reason, take what you will, you have been warned

    1. Their thread here is closed, so can't respond to their service nor see any recent reviews but yet they will tell you everything is perfect when on their site.

    2. PM's via BHW never get answered, I mean never

    3. To make matters worse, on several occasions when they don't feel like dealing with your issue, they delete the entire ticket so you have no evidence the conversation took place and you have to restart the a new ticket again. When you ask they give you excuses such as, we lost alot of data, or the ticket system is set up to delete once there is no response over 48 hours, even though you are waiting on them etc.

    4. Down times are absolutely abysmal, you count yourself lucky when they are up and running. That's how bad their down times are.

    5. Down times are not intermittent, I have held service with them for last few months, and always guaranteed to be down at least 4-5 times a week if your lucky. Sometimes every other day, with a minimum cut off of 7-12 hours of downtime each time.

    6. You can't create a ticket when they are down, as their whole site goes down.

    7. They lost a payment for domain purchase and had to argue to get it.

    8. They change nameservers without informing anyone, you only know once the damage has been done and you sites are down.

    9. They are the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, even for the most simplest and basic questions they struggle to answer

    10. Worst re-active company I have ever met. They will never, I mean never be pro-active and think ahead to your problems to solve a solution before it arises.

    Example? Even after bringing my domain down and countless times telling them I do not have their cpanel details as they have not issued them out yet, nor updated the members panel with new login. They refuse to give it until I ask point blank 3 times why are you not giving me the cpanel details


    I can go on forever, but honestly almost 3-4 months, I will never touch them again. Already found a new provider and moving my stuff across.

    Well both the offshore hosting providers on BHW have bad reputation. It's better to change your hosting rather than complaining because it won't do you any good, but thanks for letting members of BHW know how those services are. I hope your next hosting provider is better than the present one.

    That's exactly what I've done. I thought I would mention it, because like me, thread was closed so there was no way to see a latest review, so learnt the hard way by giving them a try and wasting my money with them

    You are right I also use their hosting and bought 3 domains there thinking they are good and cheap . Guess what its still down.!

    Can you tell me which hosting provider you are using now?
