Avoid being suspended by twitter

I was trying some new techniques and twitter suspended my account.

In general, what is the reason for this?
- do some retards report the account?
- is it the follow frequency
- is it the tweet frequency

what to do to make money with affiliate links but not get suspended soon?

PS: Please quantify(i.e. X tweets per hour, Y follows per hour etc).

* Too many tweets per day, tweeting too quickly
* Too many tweets with links, vs not enough tweets without links
* Spamming hashtags
* Too many bulk @replies
* No profile pic, description, location, standard theme
* Following too many people
* Overly aggressive following and unfollowing
* Bulk following / unfollowing all at once
* Too many accounts using same IP
* Using same IP as an account banned earlier that day
* Using the API

Just make it look natural and use heaps of proxies and accounts. Reuse the same proxies for each account.

Banning is just part of twitter, you just have to work around it and be able to generate a lot of accounts.
 
may be how many tweets a day.. u sent
or folllow n unfollow
i have my accounts and auto tweet enabled all tweets have backlinks
n i many tweets daily.. so no of tweets with links is not a reason or should not be a reason.

PS: Seeing your bullet items, do you conclude that automation is impossible?
 
Automation is absolutely possible, you just have to keep on tweaking your method until you get a system that works. You will get a lot of accounts banned at first but if you keep at it you can work out a good methodology. I have a dedicated server rocking 24/7 doing nothing but twitter spam.

I use my own scripts written in PHP which gives me the ability to customize my methods however I want, but a lot of members here seem to think that Tweet Attacks is OK.
 
I also do twitter automation via php. You don't need to share your scripts, just tell me some data to obey, like how many tweets per hour, how many @<name> messages(I use those mainly) per hour, how to not use the api but automate anyway, how to use proxies via php?
 
many reasons like too many tweets in one day, following other users very fast etc..

All of my tweets are with links and never banned so that is defo not the reason for ban

If you don't speak german there are all rules but no numbers. There is a lot of "too much of this" and "too much of that". But never "Less than X".

So please share some numbers.

BTW: Every spammer violates their TOS by spamming, so Autumn is best proof that violating the TOS does not lead to exclusion in general.
 
A lot of people on the board including me have found that accounts last longer if you mix in some tweets without links, especially for newer accounts. I am talking about hardcore spam profiles that aren't even semi-legit.

If you've never been banned then you're not really spamming hard enough. :D

Kamikater, no one is going to share their exact numbers. You have to work that bit out by yourself. That's hard won spam knowledge. Also the numbers of what you can get away with change depending on various things like the age of your account, your number of followers etc.

What can you tell me about repeating the same message? How many messages should be "rotated" at least?
 
I think using common sense is the key with twitter. If you are using automated tweets then you really need to have a lot of accounts and post less per account than having a small number and posting a lot.

I currently have over 500 accounts and have never had one banned yet touch wood. As for account creators i don't use em I just buy from people who do the work for me, seems to be working for me

I'll also add:
- Not tweeting enough.

I had an account suspended which was doing pretty much the exact same for another account (both set up on the same IP) but the difference being, I half forgot about it and didn't tweet for about what must be 10-14 days whereas the other one I had set up with TwitterFeed to post updates on my website (ALL statuses had hyperlinks to the website).

So not sure about the tweets with hyperlinks being a reason, as all my accounts generally have links pointing to an update/news.

With regards to IPs:
Do you think it's all down to the IP which was used to set up the account, or the IPs being used to use the account? Or both?
 
Reusing IPs too much between accounts definitely causes bans. eg. if you've got 500 proxies and 500 accounts, you have to keep reusing the same IP for each account rather than just picking an IP at random every time you log on to an account.

I don't think tweets with links as such is a problem, it's affiliate / self promotional links that is the problem. If you're tweeting to a variety of news sources then you could post tweets with links all day and it wouldn't be an issue.
 
They ban from time to time, just right back and complain. They'll restore your account and say you got cought in a spam cloud and they are sorry
 
Another reason why the account I mentioned, was banned was the follow:following ratio. I think I only had about 300 following when I got to the 2000.

One technique is target people who have 'I follow back' or 'we follow back' in their tweets or profile. You'll get more following back and it'll kick start your Twitter account and (imo) get you out of the 'new account grey area' where you get away with less than established accounts - call it a trust factor from Twitter.

Back to IPs and I've been using different IPs every day with each account so not convinced that's such a problem, but maybe on a larger scale it could happen.
