excellent list. I appreciate this, and am sending out to others that are really just beginning online stuff. We older guys need to protect the newbies as they learn. Thanks!

5.''Always make sure your payment method can be reversed if the service/product provider flakes. Don't send as a PayPal personal payment, don't western union.''

In my opinion paypal is ok..you can make a dispute...western is not recommended (you cannot ensure the money - in case something goes wrong)

Really these are very useful advice , we expect this kind of service in the future

Thanks so much cos I'm new here, this is a real eye opener. I am so grateful to you Zen19

great post zen,

a lot of it is probably common sense but I am new and for other freshers this is very helpful as we learn the ropes, rather than making expensive errors

read the post just like a newbie should... thanks for the heads up and tips!!

Sometimes people add you on Skype and you can't tell whether they are who they claim they are on BHW. This isn't a big issue now perhaps but it could pose problems later on, especially if trusted BHW members get their Skype accounts hacked into.

I haven't really been on these forums long enough to know whether this is important though, but if you do suspect something I suggest you request for a PM. Just a heads up.

In any case thanks for the tips!

I think that being recommended someone may also help when a person is looking to outsource. That way there may be more than only a relationship between you and the outsourcer.
