Aviation Specific Backlinks??

I've looked for aviation specific backlinks to work with, and its not that easy.
I need pR of 5 or higher, and its becoming very tough to find.

People are so obsessed with PR these days, it's ridiculous.

Dude PR is just a number. You have to concentrate into traffic. these are the main source. I have a site which hardly gets a visitor.but its PR is 3. So ??? No $ is coming from them. So they are nothing but a number.

Sorry for sounding like a beginner (because that's what I am), but if PR doesn't matter, then how come the higher the pr the higher the traffic? (at least that's what I see from my competition)

And secondly, how do you get traffic if your PR is zero, and your pages aren't being indexed to the fullest? Doesn't strong high PR back links help drive your PR up to increase traffic?

I know I know... The rookie million dollar questions.

that's what I always thought. But you have some people that completely say it has nothing to do with it. IDK...
