Average affiliate commission on things like toys?

I want to get away from clickbank and was hoping someone had some idea of the amount of commission roughly you might earn if promoting things like toys, body care products or other items people will receive in the post as opposed to an e-book on clickbank.

I'm in the UK/Ire region if that makes a difference, but what percentage commission would one hope to be knocking on the door for when using this affiliate approach? Thanks.

I would say probably 10%-20% commission.

Commissions for real world products are much lower compared to digital BS.

So for instance, stuff sold on Ebay or Amazon will get you about 5-10% commissions or even lower for more expensive products. However, keep in mind that the conversions will be much higher, than CB's average of 1:100...

You would be better off writing your own E-book on something you know a lot about and then getting other people to market that product for you. The problem with affiliate marketing is that unless you have a very high traffic site already which is relevant to the book you are selling, then you can expect to have a pretty tough time trying to get high enough in Google to get any relevant visitors who might buy the book you're plugging.

Yeah i agree that's a very good option.
