Autoplay Youtube video on website, views increase?

So I remember you used to be able to embed a video on a webpage, and have it autoplay whenever someone would visit the page. You send traffic to the page, your views increase.

I never did this myself, but I remember people doing it. And the really annoying ones would autoplay dozens of videos when you visit the page, slow your browser down to shit.

Anyway, I may be completely wrong, maybe this never worked like that...

But a friend of mine made a website and wants to embed a video on it and send views to it, and I'm just wondering if this autoplay thing is still possible? And then, if you do it, and you send traffic to that page, do those people count as views on the video or not?

Short answer, no.

If the video is embedded without autoplay enabled, the views count & are recorded. However, if you have autoplay enabled on that embedded video, the views don't count.

It used to be a thing in the earlier days of the Youtube API.

In theory, you could do an iframe to the youtube page and set it as hidden, so that it autoplays on the youtube site - but they might have a cross-domain restriction preventing that.

Yeah but what's the point? If autoplaying the videos doesn't get you the views, what's the point?

Unless they have a category where a user must visit a page and click to play a video? But I doubt it.
 
it doesnt count once the auto play is embeded unless the user try to click forward on the video or a pause it trigger the count
 
there was a loophole before that many providers of SMM panels was abusing by tricking the youtube using the vpaid in the past but not possible now as it has been already patched. Even the real views are having problems with embed players on random websites other than the real high traffic websites. You can perform some of the test by embeding and then using microworkers to play it :)

You can embed video on the Page without the aiutiplay, when you get traffic with 9hits you can use macro ti make visotors to manualy click on the video
 
i think google is wise enough to filter such kind of traffic. so try to gain oragnic traffic as much as possible.
i think there are views service on this forum and you can spend some to gain some real views.
give it a shot.

auto play is dead long long time ago

you have to click the video to play if you want to play

so, there is no trick to make it auto play

what to do? you have to inject js or whatever method

that will make the user do the click without user doing anything

you can also clickbait or force user to do a single click before seeing the page content

that click can be manipulated and trigger youtube auto play

iframe(capacity 0) + high volume traffic site aka porn traffic from reddit does wonders
 
Embed a youtube video on a page, add a script that when a visitor loads the page it simulates a click on the play button of the video.
