Automation for website data scraping

Thanks! I'm not into coding much. Is there a cheap tool that can do this? I don't mind paying a small monthly fee to get it done automatically with no hassle. It's crazy that I can't find one. I need to track competitor content from several competitors every month to see if they change prices, offers, etc., on their homepages. Doing it manually is tedious and time consuming.
I'm looking for a low-cost tool to automate competitor analysis with bi-weekly or monthly updates. I need to input a list of about 10 competitors and get their full home page content in plain text, meta tags (title & description), and 3-4 of their strong backlinks could be social, citations, anything that mentions them, scraped from search results. This way, I can track changes in prices, offers, and content without manually repeating the process. It’s been effective for our SEO but is too time-consuming—there must be a tool that can automate this. Thank you for helping!!

For a particular kind of scrapping you can get yourself a automation build. Which will scrape results for your queries and add ot the sheet maybe go next step and summarize or do whatever findings you want with help of AI. You can post in Want to Buy section with your budget.

Hi, thank you, I'm trying to do this programmatically using the suggested tool, but APIs are costly, and building a seamless automated system could take 3-4 months. Still, I'm giving it a shot and exploring a tip I got about another website. I'll update you if I find a viable solution.
I need raw scraped data, not AI. This requires deep knowledge of my website and competitor analysis. AI tools still fall short of meeting 100% of my needs and sometimes provide misleading information.

You don't understand I was talking about scrapping competitors content and then analyzing with AI. So it saves time and you still have raw content from competitors site. And it doesn't take 3-4 months, we build automations and depending on use case it takes 1 week to 2 months in most cases. You just need right person to do it. This kind of automation can be done in 2-3 weeks at most.
I totally got what you're saying, but our way is exactly not to use AI on the raw data, yet this is where our core costs are using human mind knowing the website and goals inside and out, then knowing that digging deep into the raw data of several competitors. So far we have great success, I just don't want to send the details nor do self-promotion here, but it works really well.
I spoke to 4 programmers from Fiverr, freelance, and other websites, all estimated 3-4 months based on our requirements, since we want it 100% automated and doing that monthly with forms to change/add competitors' URLs.
In the scope of work, all mention API structure that handles this, Selenium, React, Python. It seems to me, not being a programmer, a bit complex.
One guy from India did say 3 weeks, and was pretty low in the offer, but then after asking (actually paid $50) for the system characteristics, I realized this was by luck 50% of our expectations.
I'm trying to make time to test that website I got, with warm words saying it does what I do manually. Frankly, I doubt it, but I’ll give it a chance. Hopefully, my colleague and I will get to it tonight. If I’m proven wrong and someone did think of this and actually made it work, I’d be happy to share the experience.

Octoparse is also a good alternative.
I am no webmaster, but the guy who did parsing myself for money. Sometimes, for myself. After all, i don't believe there could be a typical solution for a non-typical task. Every website is different, has different architecture, its own rules and its own anti-bot protection. I think OP needs to hire someone.

And yes, tell me about it the frustration level is through the roof, but I’m hoping to find something that does at least 80% of the work. It’s tiring to go through that manually every month.

AI is of course optional. I was trying to explain possibilities. Humans can never scale to that level. But it's your choice to skip that step.

Tools like web scrapers can gather data from their sites, such as pricing, keywords, or new content. You could use something like Scrapy (for custom scraping), Octoparse (no-code option), or even set up Google Alerts for quick monitoring.
