Hey all a couple of questions,

Off late the number of Twitter accounts I have been running has increased and It has been eating into the data cap my ISP has imposed on me.. I am seriously considering, buying a VPS and installing my Twidium on there to automate the process.

I have been reading up on VPS' but still a bit confused. So say, I run the Twitter software on the VPS , and log onto the VPS a couple of times a day to check up on things, then this will save me from using the bandwidth from my ISP right? Since all the activity is being done on a remote server.

Secondly, when I use a VPS, won't the VPS service provider have access to all the username/PW for my accounts? and/or the License keys for my Software?

Thirdly, Feel free to post any recommendations for any VPS you used for such a purpose.

Thank you so much for your help.

Using a VPS for this is a very good idea as it will help you achieve exactly what you need
1. it won't use your bandwidth it will use the VPS traffic and most of them have unlimited traffic.
2. yes theoretically the providers have access to everything you have there, that doesn't mean they use it or take advantage of it, if the provider is serious this should definitely not be a problem.
3. there are a couple of great vps providers here on the forum in the marketplace try shape host for example, quite powerful machines at very decent prices.
