Automatic SEO audit tool

Serposcope seems to be over and not working. I just found it today :/

  • Screaming Frog
  • SEO Panel (self-hosted)
  • Sitebulb
  • Serposcope (self-hosted)
  • Netpeak Spider

Few ones that were on top of my head.

you might want to check out Sitebulb Desktop it’s not fully self-hosted, but one-time license or go full self-hosted with SEO Panel. I’ve used them both personally and they’re solid.

Use Frog it is the best seo tool. I found cracked one.

Since you’re already using Screaming Frog, consider Site bulb (one-time license), SEOptimer (self-hosted), or Serposcope (free and self-hosted). For in-depth audits with clear issue breakdowns and positives, Sitebulb stands out. It's affordable, detailed, and great for CMS-based sites without recurring high costs.

hello everyone, I am looking for an online tool, self hosting, SEO audit tool, which not only scans the start page, but since I manage many CMS systems, I also need the SEO audit's in depth again and again.

I use Screaming Frog and also other SEO tools.
But I try to keep my monthly costs low as I don't have that many audit requests.

First and foremost, I'm looking for a tool that shows many different tests and many different “problems” or even positive results.

Which tool creates the best SEO audit scan?
I suggest Screaming Frog SEO Spider (excellent for technical audits)

Check out SEO Panel (self-hosted, free) or Seodity (low-cost, solid audits) For deeper scans, Screaming Frog + a custom filter setup still crushes it IMO :smirk:

Hmm, SEO Panel hasn't had any real updates for a long time and looks very outdated.
Since SEO is always ‘changing,’ the tools should adapt as well.

It seems to me that there isn't really anything new anymore...

In my opinion, I don’t think it’s the best tool like SEMrush or Ahrefs for website audits. it's a minimum just.
Screaming Frog is the best tool for a comprehensive site audit.✅

Yeah, I’ve tried SEOnaut before—it needs some setup but works well. OSAT is good for detailed audits too. If you want something lightweight and easy, check out WebSite Auditor. It’s paid but worth it.

yes, i use Screaming Frog for a tech audit... too

SEOnaut is very simple :/
OSAT is old, no updates :(

You can try self-hosted tools like SEO Panel, SEOnaut, or site-audit-seo. They crawl beyond the homepage, spot technical and content issues, and save monthly costs. Great options if you want deep audits without subscriptions.

hi and thanks, yes, but all tools very simple audit... i test this tools :/

given your needs (self-hosting, many CMS systems, in-depth audits, cost-conscious), I found a few tools that might fit well. None will be perfect in all areas (especially when compared to large SaaS platforms), but some come very close. I’ll highlight three strong options (with pros/cons) and then give a short list of criteria you may want to use to pick the best one for you.
