    is there a batch program that will take all photo's and make them all the same size? I need something like that

    google ifranview its a lil bulky to start to works perfect once you get it rigged

    Another vote for Irfanview.

    The interface is clunky but it will do exactly what you need.

    And had as has been noted, you can't beat the price! :)

    I used a free application called 'Easy Thumbnail' batched around 400 images into a specific size (don't need to be thumbnail size).
