Hi,
I have read some posts that are covering part of my question, but unfortunately none of them answer it fully. That's why i would like to give you an example and seek for some help to resolve current issue.
I tried some automated tools for social networks and really liked them.
Then I thought to start a new blog (if to be more specific - not a blog, but news website). It could be entertaining niche or tech or travel, in fact it does not matter which one.
There are lots of automated content news websites now offered on market.
As I understand those website are getting news from rss of another websites.
Sounds cool, like you don't need to write content yourself etc. However, what I am trying to understand is - will it be good for SEO ? If my website just publishes rss feed from other sources, it does not have original content and as we know Google does not like duplicated content. Am I correct ? So you will need to get traffic from other sources like Social Networks. Personally I don't think it is a good idea to rely purely on Social networks.
Also , I would like to know about BUzz Feed and similar websites? How they manage to get so much traffic ? If I am not mistaken , very often they don't write original content at all.
So the main questions are:
- is there any way to organize automated content posting from rss feeds of other websites and not be penalized by Google ?
- is there any way to avoid text spinning and writing new content? (at least in beginning of the project)
- how to get traffic for this kind of website ?
Any suggestions ?
