Automate shopify with digital products?

Hey guys,

So I have this Shopify store with a few hundred digital products. Problem is Shopify isn't made for digital downloads, so I have to manually send the files to them everytime they order. I checked out the Digital Downloads app but I saw it has many bad reviews saying it has reliability issues.

Anyone here knows how I can automate it reliably? Maybe by integrating shopify orders with my host?

Or should I abandon shopify altogether and switch to woocommerce?

I'm not sure if they allow it, but have you tried to contact Shopify?
In my case they're always willing to help you with any questions/problems.

You can use a webhook on your server that gets pinged every time a customer places an order.
