I received test amount from AutoFications and I could successfully phone verify Gmail address. Message was received within a minute on the first attempt.
The service works as described.

They have facility to see previous numbers and codes used for verification and provide the option to re-use it again. This is useful for services which keep asking to verify number frequently.
My experience has been positive.

Only our virtual USA numbers are guaranteed to remain in our system for longer periods of time.
