Send me a pm and ill give you a link to my blog and you can suggest somethings.

that's where you go to the "freelance" forum and hire someone for submission, bookmarking and so forth. Or do it yourself.

with tons of plugins that you utilize on your autoblogs, doesn't your hosting provider ever contact you? if not, then which hosting provider are you all subscribed with?

I'm with Dreamhost and it's soooooooo sensitive with WP plugins

Great stuff will have a go but in the past have used a few mass blogs progs with no great deal of luck for blog building. Just found blogs got de-indexed but will try this as its a little different. Is anyone earning ok without the use of adsense? Im loathed to use it as I just lost one of my accounts as I used it on a different auto script so dont want to loose another!

Also are there any preffered templates for use for this?

Really???? I have most of mine hosted with hostgator and have not heard a peep from them on anything.....The blogs I have hosted there all have the plugins I mentioned as well as like maybe one or two others that I did not so at least like 5-7 plugins per blog at 10-15 blogs per account...doesn't seem bad to me. And more than that, on one of those accounts I have hosted my personal blog which has like a good 10-15 plugins at least, a gtrends blog [one that follows google trends...obviously but for those who wondered] that has at least 6-8 plugins installed, and my very first autoblog which has AT LEAST 20 plugins installed [I was testing =D] and running. My personal blog I've had for over a year with the same account, the gtrends one for about 9 months or more now, and my first autoblog for about the same amount of time and not one peep from them. I also use siteground but have all of like 5 maybe 7 hosted with them. But they haven't complained to me either and it's on the same host that I have my WPMu setup on as well.

@q3ick....I'd recommend just the free methods: social bookmarking, directory submissions, blog comments, youtube comments, blog farms....and the like.

@Gif....try a plugin that autoposts [I have been meaning to go through my files and find the other two plugins that I have that do this but I know I know I know I know that I got them from this forum so may have better luck looking for them rather than relying on my memory lol] decent enough articles and use a uniquifier plugin of some sorts if you worry about unique blogs.

@blackhit-- I prefer to give each blog their own domain. I set these blogs up to look as close to regular blogs as possible in hopes to extend their life [i had heard the deindexing stories and how much google does not like autoblogs] so subdomains were not in my blueprint. HOWEVER, I did set some up on some generic sounding domains because I figured I could get away with them [you know...like debt.getmoreinfo.com for example ***not my domain but giving an example*** doesn't sound as obvious of a autoblog as debt.likeschocolate.com does], but I only set up 5 subdomains per generic domain which was only 3 in my case.

BUT....Because of all the questions and wondering if anyone could jump into this and get traffic right away I did set up another one of these blogs three days ago on a subdomain and already have 73 uniques [no promotion whatsoever mind you as I have been too busy to do these to begin with and just wanted to see if it could be done again with no promotion]. It shows that most of my traffic is coming from the twitter updating sites: - twitturls.com
- microblogbuzz.com
- twitturly.com

Ya'll have made me really want to do testing with the different suggestions ya'll have made so I'm going to put that on my next month's todo list [this month is overbooked =P]. But i'll keep tabs up on my newest blog in the mean time. =D

As far as themes go, I myself picked out a different theme for each blog and used themes that were related to the niche [again going for the 'looks like a real blog' look]. I would pick out at least two per niche in case one was not working properly. I haven't had the misfortune of having one that won't show my tag clouds, but have had the ones with missing stylesheets or just don't work well with displaying posts the way I liked.

Thank you for this. I started playing around making an auto blog, to then clone it. Besides ping and twitter have you done any link building at all?

How big is your ping list?

Is there an easier way to produce let's say 50 - 100 blogs without getting penalized and de-indexed by the G

I think UAW doesn't work with WP-MU

I'm not sure yet, but I think its configuration file is overriden every theme a new autoblog is set

Have anyone tried this?

Well I got a test blog set up tonight. So far the only issues have been with the WP-videotube plugin, keeps telling me I need php 5 or higher, when cpanel tells me I have 5.2.5. Any ideas?

I received the UAW test post, so now I'll wait and see what articles come in. My only question on this is how do I set these up to auto post? I read something about wp-o-matic on page 1 of this thread but not sure that is what I need.

Actually they do auto-post by default :D. Just write in the setup, how many articles you want to be posted every day, setup which categories and the rest of the info and it will download the articles on auto.

Have in mind that UAW content is very narrow so you can't really choose a long-tail subject (my opinion). For example:
Baseball
Basketball
Biking
Camping
Cycling
Also know that it doesn't download the articles straight away so you have to wait for some time.

Hope this clears something up for you :D

Thanks for the additional input. I saw that it would auto post them, but I assumed it would post them all. Therefore if I had it gather 50 articles it would post 50 articles.

So, if I have it set at 10 does it gather all ten and then post them all at once?

If I had it gather 100 articles, what would I need to drip feed these into the blog?

Tried it on another host I use and it activates no problem...guess I'll be contacting RZ about this.

very helpful info in this thread, I think I'll do some more research on this autobloggin:)

I am not quite sure what you mean. If you are asking if it posts the articles all at once or spreads them evenly, the answer is the second one :D

Yes, that is exactly what I was asking.

Also, for those of you that are having trouble with the wpvideo plugin activating due to telling you you don't have php 5, try this in your htaccess file.

Code:
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php

HA this is an awesome idea. It provides little work and adds a nice passive income stream.

Hi Shylesson - thanks for posting your information. I have various niche blogs but never had any major success with going the auto route. I am implementing some of your methods on older blogs and dormant sites I have to see if they have any effect

With regards to your twitter comments, sites like twitturls.com , microblogbuzz.com, and twitturly.com follow twitter comments and most of the high ranking ones are where several posts are made to one site in 24 hours. Can you confirm if you link ALL of your autoblogs to one twitter account or if you create a separate twitter account for each?

I link like accounts to like accounts. Like I have one where I was just playing around with different options/setups and then several others that are solely related to a niche. ie. I have 5 blogs that can be related to 'finances' but broken down in diff categories--debt, finance, stocks, etc. So I use the 'finance' account for those. I get people following me all the time...I don't know why lol. I still don't like to use twitter very much but they do well getting traffic. But I sure as heck wasn't gonna make one account for all blogs or one account per blog so I took the median and made one for a broad category and went from there. I let my gf use my play account to set up and test her own blogs too so I prefer to keep mine separate. =P

ooo the ping list! Of course.....I use this one:
