Autoblogs= $$$

I really need help. I just purchased an autoblog from someone for a hundred dollars, it was my first autoblog. He showed me stats which said 6500+ uniques every month, and $3 daily on adsense. But its been 2 days since I am the new owner and my analytics say only 95 visits with 42 uniques. What do i do? Sell it or keep it? Hope to have some experts guide me!!

Thank you!!

A) If it's someone off here then name and shame
B) Raise a claim on Paypal to try and get your money back

I'd do one/both of the above first.

Sooo...i know this post is years old...so the question poses...

Are autoblogs still a viable way to get adsense income in 2011?

Or are google's latest crackdowns putting an end to the majority of spammy, auto generated blogs?

yes, i'm also interested to know if this is still good in terms of adsense earning.

I basically just read this last page. I posted in this thread earlier on. I just wanted to say, autoblogs are quite profitable. I currently have some where around 200 I think, don't really count. I find a topic I like, do some quick research and put up a blog.

I kid you not, I have never been deindexed by google only sandboxed a couple of times. I have never had adsense give me grief. I have never had hostgator ban a site.

The key still remains the same: you have to make it look natural like you were creating it by hand. I am going to ramble on for a minute so bare with me;

DO NOT build a site and populate it with 100 posts. Would you ever type a 100 posts in one evening? For NEW blogs, the first few posts need to be unique and professional, the rest of the posts not so much.

DO NOT build a new site and throw 1,000s of links at it. Only add a few backlinks by hand for a little while, search your keyword and post comments on the competitors blogs. It needs to be a natural growth.

I get content from all over, if it has links keep them, but spin the content to at least 50%.

I will also get content using wprobot, uaw and digi traffic multiplier. I also get content using seolinkvine and Myarticlenetwork.

I will also buy articles and spin them a ton so you can use them over and over and over.

I also build amazon blogs using wpzonbuilder.

I can go on and on. But yes autoblogging is quite profitable and there are many definitions of the term. Any questions, just ask.

if it's not too much to ask, can you make a step-by-step explanation on making an autoblog (either here or another new thread). i blog alright but this auto-blogging really interests me.

like how much do you need to start (or can you start for free), etc.

Ya i also agree with you. If the complete process is written then that will be helpful for many ppl.

Nice post, will download the plugin pack soon. But are your blogs more of adsense related, like lose weight etc..., product related, or both

nice post! really appreciate it. I have been interested in autoblogs but this finally motivated me to make one

this is quite interesting, ty for posting it. i might give this a go sometime

I really should appreciate the potential of autoblogs but inevitably every domain I purchase I have a belief in and a desire to develop and spend time and attention on growing. ;-) Not the autoblogger type but some amazing insights in this thread.

I had a PM from vsnqst asking what plugins I use, but I don't have enough posts to respond to his message, so I thought I'd just post them here.

RSS Poster Pro is the main one I use to drive my autoblog, but after months of working fine it started flaking out on me right before I went on vacation for a few days. Hopefully I'll be able to sort out what's going wrong with it soon.

Other than that, I use the following, some of which are merely for aesthetics:

Akismet
Auto Featured Image
Delete Duplicate Posts
Global Translator
Google XML Sitemaps
Platinum SEO Pack
SEO Smart Links
SEO Super Comments
Sociable
Web ***** Auto Tagging System
WP Missed Schedule
WP VideoTube

Do you guys have seperate adsense accounts for each blog? Or can you use the same account for all blogs?

Interesting but do autoblogs work still??
i doubt it... i use autoblogging on one site but not much visitors i get even after seo

They work, but I've not had any work which just keeps adding Amazon Ads and youtube videos. I quit doing them early this year.

However I still do them but the ones that work for me are the ones where they have news adding to them. Something where your visitors can come without knowing they'll have products shoved in their faces... in other words, you need their trust and that's achieved by keeping them up todate on the subject at hand, whilst also selling to them to but not too much.

I don't have enough posts to start a new thread, so I'm hoping maybe someone will find this question here. I'm having an issue with RSS Poster Pro, which is really killing my hits. It just won't work on my Host Gator account, though I just talked to them and they said there was nothing that would be blocking it and nothing that changed in the last few weeks that should cause any interference. However, it works fine on a site on another server where I have it installed.

What happens is that when it runs the feed it either says there are no new articles, which isn't the case because it's pulling in from a Google RSS feed that is constantly updated with new content. It's driving me crazy! I tried contacting the RSS Poster people about it, but I think someone recently bought them out and I haven't heard anything back yet. Really annoying.
